Day 01 :
Day 1: Addis Ababa – Jinka – Key Afer – Turmi Fly to Jinka and drive to Key Afer to visit the Banna people, famous for stilt-walking, long garments, and colorful clay-molded hair adorned with feathers. Continue to a Mursi village to see their distinct body decorations and lip plates before driving on to Turmi. Overnight in Turmi.
Day 02 :
Day 2: Turmi – Omorate (Dassanech) – Turmi Drive early morning to Omorate near the Kenya border to visit the Dassanech tribe along the banks of Lake Turkana. Return to Turmi in the afternoon to visit a local Hamer village and share a traditional shoforo coffee ceremony inside a family hut. Overnight in Turmi.
Day 03 :
Day 3: Turmi – Nyangatom – Kara (Karo) – Turmi Drive west to visit the Nyangatom people, renowned for their storytelling and intricate beadwork. Continue to the Omo River to visit the Kara tribe, known for their expressive body and face painting inspired by wild animal patterns. Return to Turmi for overnight.
Day 04 :
Day 4: Turmi – Jinka – Addis Ababa Drive back to Jinka in the morning for your return flight to Addis Ababa.
