Day 02 :
Day 2: Erta Ale to Hamedela Wake up early to ascend the crater for sunrise and morning views, then descend back to the campsite for breakfast Drive to Hamedela, a traditional Afar village, with a picnic lunch under the shade of palm trees along the way Visit the vast, shallow Assale Salt Lake in the afternoon to witness the narrow salt lake and the majestic sunset over the salt flats Overnight: Camping in Hamedela village
Day 03 :
Day 3: Dallol and Return to Mekele / Addis Ababa Head to Ragad (Asebo) in the early morning to observe traditional salt mining practices subject to local schedule availability Continue driving to the Dallol area, located 125 meters below sea level, to explore the vibrant, colorful, and otherworldly volcanic landscapes, hot springs, and salt formations. then Drive back to Mekele to catch your flight back to addis.
