After breakfast take your flight to Makele via Addis Ababa. Evening arrival to Makele where you’ll be picked up by your driver and transferred to Hawzen. Check into the hotel and have a late dinner before reclining for the evening. Overnight In Geralata Community Village
After breakfast, you will visit one of the ancient churches of Abuna Yemata and Maryam Korkor rock-hewn churches in the sky. Overnight In Geralata Community Village
After breakfast, 1 hr drive to Edaga Arbi where you will hike about 2 hrs to the top flats of Shimbreyti Mountain. Lunch will be at Shimbreyti. In the afternoon go for a stroll and visit a local farmer’s house. Overnight Shimbreyti Community Village
After breakfast, walk down to the green valley of Degamba and cross the valley observing the daily lives of the local farmers before ascending the Hill of Gohagot (a total of 4-5 hrs trekking). Overnight Gohagot Community Village
After breakfast, trek about 2 hrs to Eyesus Gohagot, visit the church, and continue Overnight Gohagot guesthouse
Have breakfast outside while enjoying the stunning views. Say goodbye to your guesthouse staff before packing up and trekking about 4 hrs up to Sagren Mountain. Descend to Agoro Lodge in Adigrat. From Agoro Lodge drive about 2 hrs to Mekele airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
